It has been a tumultuous couple of years in the world of professional golf. As the dust begins to settle around all of the controversy and obscenely high purses, it’s become evident that the current structure of pro-golf may be in need of a redesign. My idea is a six-tier system. Each tier is referred to as a “Level” with the top level being a world tour for the best players.

After working on that for weeks, it seemed like every time I tested my ball speed I set a record. My ball speed (swinging hard) went from 166.5 to a record of 173.9. More recently when testing I am able to get to 170 on my first or second swing of the day.

In The Golf Zone was originally an idea for a blog that I had when I was a junior golfer. It sat on the shelf for a while, but it was finally time to bring the idea to fruition this past year.
